Detecting a risky order is only useful if someone acts on it in time. Shopify Flow closes that gap by letting a signal start a workflow without a person watching a dashboard.

Two useful triggers

  • High-risk visit detected. Fires when a session is scored as high risk, before any order exists.
  • High-risk order detected. Fires when an order matches your rules or comes from a risky session.

Ideas for what to do next

  • Tag the order so your team can filter for it.
  • Hold fulfillment until someone has reviewed it.
  • Send a message to a staff channel for orders over a set value.
  • Add the customer to a watch list for later orders.

Avoid the flood

A single bad actor can trigger the same rule many times. Deduplicate triggers so one person does not create dozens of workflow runs. Skyfense deduplicates them for 24 hours.

Sending review back

Flow can also call back. Skyfense provides an action that marks an order for review from inside a workflow, so a rule you write in Flow can flag an order in your Skyfense dashboard.

These are part of Skyfense’s order protection, currently in beta.
