Skyfense’s ad spend dashboard connects paid visits with the same detection signals used to assess storefront traffic. Basic attribution covers Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft/Bing, and TikTok without requiring a Google Ads account connection.
Free includes traffic monitoring and a seven-day summary. Pro and Business add network breakdowns, click-level detail, and a 90-day reporting window. The full click log supports network and validity filters, pagination, and a campaign breakdown, so your team can follow a suspicious visit back to its evidence.
Connect Google Ads spend
The new Google Ads connection beta brings campaign spend and click data into that investigation. Pro and Business merchants can connect from the Google Ads panel on the Ads page. The initial sync backfills 90 days; daily runs then refresh the trailing four days.
Google reports campaign-level spend, rather than the billed cost of each individual click. Skyfense assigns each click its campaign’s average CPC for that day. Invalid-click spend totals use those allocated amounts, with your entered CPC as a fallback when synced data is unavailable. They describe exposure, rather than guaranteed savings.
Prepare evidence and track a claim
The refund evidence beta exports a monthly CSV of invalid Google Ads visits carrying a gclid. Each row includes the click ID, campaign, time, location, detection signals, allocated cost, and a dashboard link to the visit.
You review the evidence and submit the claim through Google’s invalid-activity process. The tracker records pending, submitted, and credited states, with an audit entry for each status change. Amounts are estimates, and Google decides whether to issue a credit. Multiple visits can share a click ID, so review repeated IDs when preparing a claim.
Review IPs and placements
With explicit consent, IP exclusion sync can push up to 500 public IPs behind invalid clicks from the last 90 days into campaign exclusions. Placement review ranks the last 30 days of Display and Performance Max spend and flags mobile-app and anonymized inventory. Selected websites and apps can be excluded at account level.
Placement metrics are aggregate data and cannot be matched to individual fraud verdicts. The beta also accesses every account the connected login can reach: IP exclusions affect enabled campaigns across those accounts, and selected placement exclusions apply across them. There is no account picker, and totals assume a single currency. The dashboard can remove recorded exclusions, but re-syncs and partial failures can leave changes that need review in Google Ads.
Keep pixel controls separate
The optional ad pixel reporting guard can suppress supported ad reporting calls for blocked sessions. It remains off until you enable it, and its status view breaks blocked ad-attributed visits down by Google, Meta, Microsoft, and TikTok. Suppressing reporting does not reverse charges already billed by an ad network.
